As part of the implementation of the National Systemic Support of the National Foundation for Civil Society Development (NZRCD), the Association of Dystrophy Associations of Croatia (SDDH), the Croatian Association of Cerebral and Infantile Paralysis Associations (HSUCDP) and the Croatian Association of Associations of Persons with Physical Disabilities (HSUTI) organized an online joint workshop for member associations on the topic "Guidelines for successful management of a non-profit organization“.

The workshop was held on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, by Mladenka Majerić, consultant for fundraising and management of non-profit organizations, who explained through lectures and exercises what are the key things for a successful and healthy non-profit organization, the importance of communication inside and outside the organization, and the importance of strategy and strategic plan.

She also explained to the participants of the workshop what fundraising is and its importance, and emphasized that the mission of every organization needs people more than money, because when people are with you and give your association's mission attention, interest, trust, advocacy - money will be a consequence of all that.

The workshop was attended by representatives of the member associations of all three federations from all over Croatia, and on the topic of guidelines for the successful management of a non-profit organization, the SDDH previously, during the transitional, preparatory period for inclusion in the systematic support of the National Foundation, issued a brochure on the topic "Recommendations to associations” which was created for SDDH by Mladenka Majerić.
