Capacity building for SDDH member associations was held in cooperation with the Croatian Federation of Cerebral and Infantile Palsy Associations - HSUCDP on Thursday, December 19, 2023. After the welcoming speech by the presidents of the federation, Marica Mirić and Ivica Bašić, the executive director of HSUCDP presented the results of a survey conducted among member associations on plans for implementing personal assistance services in the upcoming period.

SDDH expert associates, Mirna Plećaš Ilić and Slobodan Marinković, gave presentations on the responsibility of the project manager, the preparation of the ZNS and conversions, while HSUCDP representatives Dolores Kujek and Suzana Cigetić presented the possibilities of national funding through applications for national tenders and the complaints system, labor legislation, economic and psychological activities.

On the topic of How Personal Assistance Represents a New Challenge for Associations, Zvjezdana Delić, Executive Director of CeDePe, explained the plan for implementing personal assistance in their association, while the President of SDDH, Marica Mirić, gave suggestions and advice to representatives of member associations on how to most successfully approach the implementation of personal assistance in the upcoming period.

Representatives of member associations and federations shared with all those present the experiences and challenges they face in terms of the work, financing and sustainability of associations.

Capacity building was carried out as part of the National Systematic Support "Transitional, preparatory period for inclusion in the systematic support of the National Foundation".
