On Monday, December 18, 2023, Dr. Davorka Vranješ held a new SDDH Medical Consultation, this time on the topic of acute and chronic polyneuropathies.

She explained the differences between the motor unit, motor neuron, nerve root, peripheral nerve, and neuromuscular junction, and briefly explained their role in the overall functioning of the nervous system, as well as the possible causes of polyradiculitis and polyradiculoneuropathy.

The medical counseling is standardly conducted in cooperation with the Zagreb Muscular Dystrophy Society, and a total of 21 people from different parts of Croatia participated in the December counseling.
