In order to improve organizational development and capacity development, members of the SDDH expert team participated in a three-day training on strategic planning conducted by Mladenka Majerić, a fundraising and management advisor for non-profit organizations, as part of the transitional preparatory period for inclusion in the National Foundation's systematic support.

On the first day of the workshop, November 29, 2023, a presentation of the organizational chart, individual roles and responsibilities of team members, programs, projects and activities implemented by SDDH was carried out.

Through analyzing the vision, mission and values of action, the clarity of the strategy in the direction of action, the desired specific outcomes, concrete and measurable results, as well as the desired changes in society were determined. On the second day, December 20, 2023, a comprehensive analysis of the current situation was made through a review of each set strategic goal with its associated activities, planned, achieved and unrealized results, achieved unexpected results that were not planned.

On the third day of the workshop, December 21, 2023, with the support of the facilitator, a Strategic Plan concept was developed, which is the basis for the innovated SDDH Strategic Plan as an outcome of the workshop.
